The cry baby

My girl, An-Nour Sofiyyah, seriously crying is her middle name. It can be stressful at times because basically she can't just play or left for a while with her big sister whenever I am home. Not that I am complaining, but somehow I wish she could at least let me do some house chores, cooking particularly.

The moment I put her down or leave her she will cry immediately until she reaches the highest pitch and it will be continuously non stop until I pick her up! If I really need to cook and their father is not around I have no choice but to let her scream her heart out for a while, or else she won't have her meal.

Unlike her big sister who is always calmer and soft, this little baby girl is the opposite. But yes I have to admit she is super cute until she screams for mommeh!! She wants me to be by her side all the time, except when I have to go to work. She has no problem left with my mom, but still sometimes she will scream to make sure her grandmother stays with her all the time. Sometimes I pity her big sister An-Nour Salsabeela. I hope she understands that at this moment mommy needs to focus more on her little sister. I think she does understand, she really has this 'big sister' character.

I hope both of my girls will grow up to be successful dunya wal akhirah. I don't mind to sacrifice my sleeping & leisure time, as long as they grow  full of love from us their mommy & daddy.

Shoes shoes shoes

Oih I want all these. #greedy tone!

Cheap. Only RM39.90 from H&M. But I'm not sure about the comfortness level. I am quite hesitated. Must visit H&M soon.

From H&M too. RM 99.90. The description is written: 

Wedge-heel shoes in imitation suede. Platform front 3 cm, heel 9 cm. Rubber soles.

Hmm hmm. I am a sucker for sneakers & wedges. Platform wedges to be exact. Oh and espadrilles too. Not really into stilettos tho. But at this moment I am very much in need of shoes. One minute I feel like buying Vans, then Fitflop Due, then Zara Moustache slippers haih I cannot make up my mind now. Can I have all?

But the Fitflop Due is way too expensive. RM499 I would rather add a little bit and grab Gucci Marola Jelly Shoes instead. Heh.

NuffnangX

Ok I am kinda hooked to the NuffnangX at this moment.


Yah yah am a late bloomer. Been ignoring blog(s) for quite sometimes. Too obsessed with Instagram. Before that was Twitter. From Blogger to Wordpress to Twitter to Tumblr to Instagram to Wordpress again (never publish this one lol) then to Tumblr back thennnnn Blogger again. I am so unpredictable. Even I can't predict myself lol.

But this NuffnangX makes it easier to follow people. Just like Tumblr! Ok ok I know I am the last one to know about this.

Pancake for breakfast

This morning I prepared An-Nour Salsabeela 2 pieces of pancake, with Hershey's chocolate sauce on it.



Don't bother to start from scratch, I just bought Pillbury's pancake mix; the buttermilk flavour, all I have to do is just mix with water. Super easy. For the original flavour you have to add egg to it, so the buttermilk flavour is easier to prepare ;p



RM15.90 per box, you can make lots of pancakes. Like a lot! The cost is still cheap. Ok now we don't have to visit Paddington House of Pancake anymore ;p

Food storage

I am planning to spend some time to prepare meals ahead of time and freeze it so that we could always have homemade food.

I need some food storage from IKEA.

Cooking for toddler

I decided to cook early in the morning again like last time, for my toddler. She's quite thin, my husband worries that she is not eating well. Yah, toddler what do you expect. Normally at this age, (she's 3), they'll become picky and only eat what they like.

And my girl needs someone to feed her actually, or at least accompany her while she is having meal. Maybe she gets bored with almost same menu everyday. So I guess I need to start cooking again for her.

So for the start, here's the salmon aglio olio, the sausage & egg. I hope she could gain some weight.


To make things easier, I'm going to jot down all easy-to-cook menu for toddler, or better the ones that can be prepared ahead of time and freeze it in my deep freezer. Ok I am so gonna do that now!

Fireworks galore

Last night, the ninth day of CNY, the prayer time for the Hokkiens. Living in a Chinese neighborhood, we are already immuned with the noise.

At 11pm the noise started from left, right, front & behind. My kids are not affected by the sounds, they enjoyed it as much as I do!









Do not complain, just enjoy the multiracial uniqueness of Malaysia. It is just once in a year. 1Malaysia :)

She's 3!

It was my first daughter An-Nour Salsabeela’s 3rd birthday yesterday. Can't believe she's a big girl already. How time flies. And her little sister An-Nour Sofiyyah turned 8 months on the same day. Co-incidentally they chose to come out on the same date : 17th!


We will be having the celebration on 3 March. I planned to do it yesterday, on her actual birth date but mom was not free. Next weekend dad is not free. So we have no choice but to postpone it until everyone is free! She keeps on asking for Pororo cake, to which I already ordered from a baker friend. While waiting for the real celebration, we celebrated her birthday with her besties, where the parents are our besties as well, at Mentara Food Court near Dagang Avenue in Ampang.


So we had dinner by the pool, with pizza, burger bakar, spaghetti carbonara, nasi goreng seafood and all until our stomach bloated.



The birthday girl could not wait anymore. Her head must be inside the cake box already. I think she thought it was Pororo cake. But I explained to her that we will be having the most awaited Pororo cake in another 2 weeks. She settled with the Angry Bird cake from King’s.


Husband reminded not to buy big cake but I could not find smaller cake that suits a toddler. I actually wanted to buy Lola cake from Wondermilk but husband could not accept the idea of driving to Damansara from Kepong then from there to Ampang. Sigh. Whatever. As long as my girl is happy I’m happy.





Now I am planning for her Pororo-themed birthday celebration. Awh.
